Black Women Investors (BWI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to addressing the underrepresentation of diverse voices in private equity and venture capital. We cultivate an inclusive network that empowers professionals, provides access to industry opportunities, and builds a robust pipeline of future investors and leaders.

By fostering a dynamic community and offering pathways for professional growth and development, we bridge gaps in investment opportunities and promote economic advancement. Our mission is to build a diverse and forward-thinking group of investors whose decisions reflect and uplift the global communities impacted by the investment decisions made by venture capital and private equity firms.

Through strategic partnerships, mentorship programs, advocacy, and curated investment opportunities and events, BWI strengthens the investment ecosystem by supporting emerging founders, advancing equitable capital allocation, and developing future investment leaders.
