ABOUT BWI
Black Women Investors (BWI) was founded to address the significant underrepresentation of Black women in private equity and venture capital. BWI aims to create a robust network that empowers, educates, and provides access to industry opportunities to build a pipeline of Black women investors.
By fostering a community of like-minded individuals and offering avenues for professional growth, BWI strives to bridge the gap in investment opportunities and promote economic advancement by creating a diverse group of investors reflective of the global communities impacted by the investment decisions made by venture capital and private equity firms.
Through strategic partnerships, mentorship programs, advocacy and investment opportunities, BWI is committed to increasing the representation of diverse investors.
