Genever Oppong is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Black Women Investors Network, where she leads a community of investors, founders, and professionals across private equity, venture capital, and asset management. Prior to founding BWI, she spent her career in investment banking and private equity at Goldman Sachs and BlackRock, executing over $10 billion in transactions across the alternatives landscape. She has long been an advocate for educational and economic advancement for underrepresented populations, and has experience serving on nonprofit and university boards. She is the recipient of a BWAM 40 Under 40 award and a NAIC Rising Star award.
